At The Anxious Pelvis Clinic we provide care that is:
Holistic
Trauma-informed
Specialized
Individualized
You’re never brushed off to another therapist or aide. Evaluations are 90 minutes, to allow a thorough intake process. Follow ups are a full hour, not 50 minutes. Appointments are never scheduled back to back, you will never feel rushed out the door. Care is customized to treat your needs. Gina is certified in trauma informed care, and uses her occupational therapy lens to address the whole body and your environment.
So much of pelvic health is nervous system focused, holistic care with this in mind will help you finally feel lasting relief.

At Anxious Pelvis, we believe in high quality care that meets your needs. Due to this, we are out of network with insurance.
We do provide superbills upon request, that you can submit to your insurance for out of network reimbursement, depending on your plan.
Payment can also be made with FSA and HSA cards.
It’s also to be noted that your plan of care is to get you what you need and get you feeling better in a timely manner given your specific situation. This includes equipping you with the skills to maintain and improve your pelvic health at home. We do not practice under a model of making people feel like they have to keep coming in forever to stay well in their pelvic health. Although some people continue to find further benefit and enjoy coming in past their original plan of care! It’s completely up to you. But your individualized plan, has your finances and long term goals in mind.
We believe in quality over quantity. -
Your first appointment will be focused on getting a comprehensive overview of everything going on - this will be done through:
Reviewing the intake form
Talking through your history
Reviewing your current and past symptoms
Looking at your daily activities and primary influences on your symptoms
Physical assessments
This initial session may also include a lot of education around your symptoms, goal setting, expectations, as well as some treatment depending on your situation and timing.
Often the initial session is very talk/interview based with some hands on. Gina rarely does internal assessment on the first session unless it is specially requested or applicable. This is done to ensure the body is providing true consent, as well as give you time to practice and learn skills that help internal go smoother and more successfully. The hands on in this first session, may look more like assessing the position of your pelvis, posture, abdominal/core (tension, strength, scar tissue), and your breathing patterns.
